The George Finnie Stadium
The George Finnie Stadium and Tressel Field is one of the nation's best small college stadiums for football, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's track and field.
The stadium and its artificial turf surface have been also used for women's softball games.
In 2008, Finnie was upgraded with new fied turf and a state of the art track surface. The project was made possible by the generosity of many family and friends of the University and a $500,000 donation by the Tressel Family.
The new track surface at Finnie is one of only four of its kind throughout the world. The same surface was used at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Finnie Stadium has hosted three NCAA Division III national championship track meets, numerous NCAA and Ohio High School Athletic Association football playoff games as well as being the home field to Berea-Midpark High School. The Ohio Sports Festival/Ohio State Games also use Finnie as both a regional and state championship site.
